Privacy Policy
Who Operates This Site
This website is operated by Charles E. Stevens, Ed.S., an independent certified Time To Teach trainer. It is produced, hosted, and supported by the Center for Teacher Effectiveness / Time To Teach (CTE), the organization behind the training programs described on this site.
Information You Provide
This site has no user accounts and no visitor database. It collects personal information only when you choose to submit one of its forms:
- Request a Quote: your first and last name, work email, phone number (optional), school or district name, state, approximate number of teachers attending, preferred timeframe, program interest, and any message you include.
- Free teaching resources: your email address and which resource you requested.
- Store orders: your name, email address, shipping address, and the items ordered. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe; card numbers never reach or pass through this website.
Information Collected Automatically
Almost none. This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not build visitor profiles. Like virtually all websites, the hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. If analytics are ever enabled on this site, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated to say so.
How Information Is Used
- To respond to your quote request and prepare pricing and availability
- To deliver the free resource you asked for and answer follow-up questions
- To process, fulfill, and ship store orders
- To follow up about your inquiry; you can ask to stop follow-up at any time
Who Receives It
Personal information is never sold or rented. It is shared only as needed to run the site and respond to you:
- Email delivery. Form submissions arrive as email to Charles E. Stevens, Ed.S. and are kept in ordinary email systems.
- Center for Teacher Effectiveness. As the organization that produces, hosts, and supports this website, CTE may also receive quote requests for hosting, support, and quality-oversight purposes.
- Stripe. Card payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
- Vimeo. Training videos on this site are embedded from Vimeo; when you play one, Vimeo may collect playback data under its own policy.
Retention
Submissions are kept as ordinary business records (primarily email) for as long as reasonably needed to respond, fulfill orders, and meet recordkeeping obligations. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Your Choices & Rights
You may request a copy of the information you have submitted, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted, by emailing charles@thecoachstevens.com. Reasonable requests are honored. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the United Kingdom, or California), you may have additional rights under local law; requests can be made through the same address. You can stop follow-up email at any time by replying and saying so.
Children's Privacy
This site is written for educators, administrators, and school decision-makers. It is not directed to children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact charles@thecoachstevens.com and it will be deleted.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, collects the minimum needed, stores nothing in a site database, and keeps payment details entirely with Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but the surface area here is deliberately small.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
